Italian truck and commercial vehicle supplier Reflex & Allen Group is expanding production at its U.S. manufacturing base less than two years after it first opened.
The company will add a tubing extrusion line at its Indianapolis plant, adding 97 employees by 2014, Reflex & Allen and state officials announced in a July 30 news release.
Reflex & Allen, based in Guiglia, Italy, makes hoses, tubes, connectors and other components for electrical, fluid and pneumatic control systems used on commercial trucks and other vehicles, using nylon and other thermoplastic materials for various parts.
In January 2012, it expanded to Indianapolis, after years of supplying U.S. customers from other facilities. In addition to Italy, Reflex & Allen has production in England, Ireland, China and India.
Indiana economic development groups will provide up to $500,000 in conditional tax credits and another $28,000 in training grants to help finance the expansion. | |
